Commemoration Meeting of renowned educationist, Mrs. M. A. Thankamma (1914-1998), Former Head, Department of Education and Dean, Faculty of Education, University of Kerala; and distribution  of cash awards instituted in memory of Mrs. Thankamma by her family, to the Best Out-going students of B.Ed Course (Govt. College of Teacher Education, Thiruvananthapuram) and M.Ed. Course(Dept of Education, University of Kerala).

100^th Birthday Celebration of Dr. N. P. Pillai (1912-1984), the legend teacher educator and the father figure of educational research in India & Former UNESCO Expert (Former Professor & Head, Department of Education & Former Dean, Faculty of Education, University of Kerala). International Seminar on 'Gandhian Educational Principles and Practices for the Emerging Global Scenario'  on 25th,26th & 27th July, 2012 at Kerala Gandhi Smarak Nidhi, Thycaud, Thiruvananthapuram-14. The Centennial Celebration Souvenir will be released on the occasion.
